Danish team Heroic beat FaZe Clan 2-1 to advance to the semi-finals of the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. Kasper "cadiaN" Moeller's roster will face the winner of the Monte - GamerLegion pairing in the semi-finals of the major. FaZe Clan, for their part, finished in 5th-8th place in the championship, earning $45,000.

The first quarterfinal of the Long Event was played on the Nuke card, which was the European team's choice. However, Heroic quickly seized the initiative, winning the first half by double digits, 10-5. After the change, the Danes quickly ran ahead, but FaZe Clan players tried to get back in the game and almost made the comeback. But in the end the Danish team was more nimble to close the gap in their favour - 16:14.

The game then shifted to the Overpass card, which turned out to be Heroic's choice. Here the situation turned upside down, as FaZe Clan already had the advantage and managed to close the first half with a comfortable 10-5 lead. After the change of sides, the Danish team tried to make a comeback, but at the very end FaZe Clan players managed to pull off a successful attack on the B-plunder and even the score at 16:12.

Everything was decided on the map Mirage, where the Danish team got off to a flying start and crushed their opponents for the defence - 12:3. After the change of sides FaZe Clan was unable to return to the game, while Heroic managed to score all the necessary rounds and sealed the final victory with advancing to the semifinals - 16:6.
