sh1ro, Cloud9's sniper, turned out to be the best player in Group A at ESL Pro League Season 17. The 21-year-old esportsman scored an impressive 1.49 rating, becoming the main creator of his team's success in the group stage of the championship. Note that the Cloud9 team got three wins, thanks to which it made it to the quarterfinals of the competition.

On the second line was another representative of Cloud9 - Ax1Le. One of the best riflers in the scene has an average rating of 1.35. It was followed by HObbit, who finished the group stage with a rating of 1.29.

The fourth place went to m0NESY - the sniper of the G2 Esports team finished his performances in the group with an average rating of 1.25. FL1T rounded out the top five in Group A with a 1.24 rating.

The top 8 players in Group A also included XANTARES from Eternal Fire (1.17), nicoodoz from fnatic (1.14) and fame from Outsiders (1.10).

ESL Pro League Season 17 runs from February 22 to March 26 in Malta. As part of the championship, 32 teams from the CIS, Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and Oceania are competing for a total prize pool of $850,000, as well as tickets to IEM Cologne 2023 and BLAST World Final 2023 for the winner.
