The first game day of Elisa Masters Espoo 2022 has come to an end, within which Group A matches took place. According to their results, the teams Sprout , ENCE and BIG got into the top three of the strongest sextet and advanced to the playoffs of the competition. In turn, the teams HEET, GamerLegion and HAVU failed to show a decent result, thus saying goodbye to the championship.

The best team in group A unexpectedly became Sprout, who on their way won victories over HEET (16:14), ENCE (19:16), HAVU (16:8) and GamerLegion (25:23), and also suffered a defeat from BIG (11:16). Representatives of ENCE are on the second line, having managed to beat HAVU (16:12), GamerLegion (16:10), HEET (16:9) and BIG (16:9).

The German team BIG made it from the third line to the playoffs, which has three wins over HEET (16:13), Sprout (16:11) and HAVU (19:15), as well as losses from GamerLegion (14:16) and ENCE (9:16).

The worst team in group A turned out to be HAVU, who lost all five matches and finished in last place. Teams HEET and GamerLegion got six points each, which did not have enough endurance for the whole game day.

Elisa Masters Espoo 2022 takes place from November 16 to 20 in the Finnish city of Espoo at the Espoo Metro Arena. As part of the championship, twelve teams from Europe are fighting for a total prize pool of $200,000, as well as a ticket to Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023.
