Heroic is the winner of BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2022 Europe
BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2022 Europe has ended. As part of the tournament, which was held online from October 19 to 23, eight teams from Europe and China competed for a total prize pool of $67,500, rating points, and a ticket to BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022. The Danish team Heroic became the champion of the event. which in the final derby defeated Astralis with a score of 2:0 (Ancient - 22:20; Nuke - 16:10).
The tournament for the Danish team started with a confident victory over ECSTATIC (2:0). In the semi-finals Heroic also didn't feel their opponent, beating Sangal (2:0) in the class to go to the final of the competition.
The grand final of the championship started on the map Ancient, which turned out to be the choice of Astralis. However, Heroic players quickly seized the initiative on the server, giving their compatriots only three rounds before switching sides. Further, the wards of Xizt continued to bend their line, at some point having received enough map points. But here Astralis joined the game and reached overtime. And yet, in the end, Heroic managed to hold back the opponent and take the lead in the series — 22:20.
Next, the teams moved to the Nuke map, which became the choice of Heroic. Here the struggle turned out to be a little more, and anyway cadiaN and the company closed the first half in their favor. However, after the side switch, Astralis failed to appear on the server, allowing Heroic to get a ticket to BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022 - 16:10.
