The first round of IEM Road to Rio 2022 European RMR A has ended, following which we have formed a group of leaders and outsiders. While FaZe Clan , Team Spirit , G2 Esports , Cloud9 , Bad News Eagles , Sprout , fnatic and Ninjas in Pajamas managed to get their first wins, the rest of the teams are close to being eliminated from the RMR tournament. The game day started with two tense confrontations, in which Bad News Eagles and Sprout proved to be stronger than Eternal Fire (16:14) and forZe (19:17), respectively. The next couple of matches were without intrigue, as here G2 Esports buried ECSTATIC (16:0), while Cloud9 confidently dealt with B8 (16:6).

Further, the Russian team Team Spirit entered the fight, which was stopped by 1WIN on the Nuke map (16:9). At the same time, FaZe Clan got an ambiguous victory over GamerLegion (28:25), practically playing two series on one map. In the final portion of the matches, fnatic confidently outplayed Aurora Gaming (16:4), while Ninjas in Pajamas managed to cope with the Danes from Astralis (16:12).
