The G2 Esports team outplayed NAVI with a score of 2:1, thanks to which they reached the semi-finals of ESL Pro League Season 16. Here the European team will meet with the Vitality team, which turned out to be stronger than Outsiders a little earlier. In turn, "Born to Win" finish their way in the tournament, taking only 5-8th place.

The final quarter-final kicked off on the Dust 2 map, which turned out to be the pick of the Born to Win. At the same time, the starting advantage remained with the European team, which showed excellent defense and got a small advantage towards the close of the first half — 9:6. After switching sides, G2 Esports began to lose its grip, letting the opponent close to itself. Well, in the very end, NAVI managed to win the economic race in order to ultimately take the lead in the series - 16:13.

Next, the teams moved to the Inferno map, which became the choice of G2 Esports. Here the European team again started right off the bat in order to get a comfortable advantage in the first half — 9:6. After the side switch, NAVI still tried to return to the game, but in the end, they missed the economy and lost some chances. In turn, G2 Esports managed to adjust to the opponent's attack, thanks to which they transferred the fate of the series to the third map — 16:9.

Everything was decided on the Mirage map, the first half of which ended with a twofold advantage in favor of the European team. After the change of sides, "Born to Win" still tried to return to the fight. But the weak economy brought all attempts to naught, while G2 Esports managed to unwind in the attack and get the final victory — 16:9.
