Arctic eSports and Isurus qualify for IEM Road to Rio 2022 Americas

The third open South American qualifier for the IEM Road to Rio 2022 for America is drawing to a close, with Arctic eSports and Isurus guaranteeing entry to the upcoming RMR tournament. While the other two teams will compete for the third ticket to IEM Road to Rio 2022, we invite you to get acquainted with the intermediate results of the current qualifiers.

The first leader of the current qualifier is the Arctic eSports team, which has already managed to beat Furious Gaming (16:8), Paquetá Gaming (16:14) and Corinthians Esports (2:0) on its way. The second team from the sub-region to qualify for the RMR tournament was Isurus. During the qualifiers, the Argentine team managed to beat Stars Horizon (16:8), ODDIK (19:17) and B4 Esports (2:1).

In turn, the Corinthians Esports and B4 Esports teams will compete for the third trip to IEM Road to Rio 2022 for America. Well, Arctic eSports and Isurus will compete for the right to become the winner of the third open South American qualifier, thus getting the best seed.

The third open South American qualifier for the IEM Road to Rio 2022 Americas takes place online from 25 to 27 August.

  • FURIA Esports, Imperial Esports, Team Liquid, paiN Gaming, MIBR, 00NATION, Complexity Gaming, ex-Gaimin Gladiators, O PLANO, 9z, Arctic eSports and Isurus.

The RMR tournament for teams from North and South America will take place from 5 to 9 October in Stockholm. The team that takes first place at IEM Road to Rio 2022 will receive Legend status. The teams that take places from 2nd to 3rd will receive the Challenger status. Teams ranked from 4th to 6th will receive Contender status. The remaining teams will miss IEM Rio Major 2022.
