The Astralis team beat MOUZ with a score of 2:1 and advanced to the semi-finals of IEM Cologne 2022. Here the Danish team will play with NAVI, which, we recall, did not suffer a single defeat in the group stage. In turn, MOUZ left the championship, taking 5th-6th place and earning $24,000 + 300 BLAST Premier points.

The first quarter-final started on the Mirage map, which became the choice of MOUZ. At the same time, the "mice" immediately seized the initiative on the server, showing a lightning attack and winning 10 rounds in the first half. Well, after the side switch, Astralis failed to join the game, thus allowing MOUZ to take the lead in the series — 16:8.

Next, the teams moved to the Nuke map, which became the choice of Astralis. Here, the Danish team skillfully managed the advantage given by the choice of the map. As a result, the wards of trace played confidently in the attack, getting a good advantage before switching sides. In the second half, MOUZ did not manage to revive the intrigue, marking only a won round with pistols. As a result, Astralis quickly got the necessary rounds and equalized the score in the series — 16:9.

Everything was decided on the Ancient map, the first half of which ended with a confident win back from the MOUZ players. Nevertheless, after the change of sides, the Danish team managed to return to the game, having managed not only to catch up with the opponent, but also to go ahead. As a result, Astralis managed to break the opponent's economy, and at the same time reach the semi-finals of IEM Cologne 2022 — 16:12.

IEM Cologne 2022 takes place from 5 to 17 July in Germany at the Hyatt Regency Cologne and LANXESS arena venues. As part of the championship, 24 teams from Europe, the CIS, Oceania, China, North and South America are fighting for a prize pool of $1,000,000, as well as rating points in the BLAST Premier table.
