MOUZ and FURIA leave the Roobet Cup from the group stage

The last day of the Roobet Cup group stage in groups C and D has ended.

Decisive matches for reaching the playoffs ended as follows. 9z beat FURIA 2:1 (Overpass 11:16; Ancient 16:4; Mirage 19:17). Eternal Fire knocked Mousesports out of the championship, the meeting ended with a score of 2:1 (Nuke 2:16; Mirage 16:12; Inferno 16:13).

Group C results

  1. ENCE advance to the playoffs from the first place. They defeated Eternal Fire 2:1 and Mousesports 2:1.
  2. Eternal Fire advance to the playoffs from second place. Their results: 1:2 ENCE, 2:1 Imperial, 2:1 Mousesports.
  3. Mousesports are eliminated from the tournament after finishing third in the group. Their results: 2:0 Imperial, 1:2 ENCE, 1:2 Eternal Fire.
  4. Imperial are eliminated from the tournament, finishing fourth in the group. Their results: 0:2 Mousesports, 1:2 Eternal Fire.

A surprise for some was the result of the MOUZ team, which lost to the Turkish team Eternal Fire.

Group D results

  1. forZe advance to the playoffs from the first place. They defeated Outsiders(Virtus.pro) 2:1 and 9z 2:0.
  2. 9z advance to the playoffs in second place. Their results: 2:0 FURIA, 0:2 forZe, 2:1 FURIA.
  3. FURIA are eliminated from the tournament, finishing third in the group. Their results: 0:2 9z, 2:0 Outsiders(Virtus.pro), 1:2 9z.
  4. Outsiders(Virtus.pro) are eliminated from the tournament, finishing fourth in the group. Their results: 1:2 forZe, 0:2 FURIA.

On the last map of the confrontation between FURIA and 9z, the Brazilians from FURIA gave a comeback to the team 9z, which played for the attack on Mirage.

The first playoff games will be tomorrow, the opening match will be BIG vs. Eternal Fire at 16:00, and the next match will be between Cloud9 vs. 9z at 20:00 Kyiv time.

Roobet Cup 2022 runs from June 22 to 30 online. As part of the championship, sixteen participants from Europe, the CIS, North and South America are fighting for a prize pool of $250,000.

  • 1st place: TBD $150,000.
  • 2nd place: TBD $50,000.
  • 3rd-4th place: TBD $15,000.
  • 5th-8th place: TBD $5,000.
  • 9th-12th place: OG, Complexity Gaming, Imperial, MOUZ, FURIA.
  • 13th-16th place: Movistar Riders, Entropiq and Outsiders.
