The teams BIG and Astralis advanced to the playoffs of the Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022. According to the results of the group stage of the championship, the teams did not suffer a single defeat, thus entering the upper bracket directly. In turn, fnatic and Imperial Esports will go to finish the Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 group stage, where they will play against Heroic and Finest, respectively.

BIG - fnatic

The match within Group A started on the Nuke map, which became the choice of the German team. However, BIG did not succeed in the attack, as the opponent actively pressed with aggression, breaking round after round. As a result, the Germans took only three rounds, actually starting to prepare for the next map. Well, after switching sides, fnatic confidently got the necessary rounds to take the lead in the series — 16:7.

The teams then moved to the Overpass map, which became the choice of fnatic. However, BIG has now finished the first half by a wide margin, effectively resolving all issues. After the side switching, keita's men still tried to return to the game, but in vain. As a result, the German team took the opponent's pick and equalized the score in the series — 16:11.

Everything was decided on the Vertigo map, the first half of which was held in an equal fight. Nevertheless, after the switchover, BIG showed a confident attack, thus making it to the playoffs of the Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 — 16:10.

Astralis-Imperial

The parallel meeting started on the Nuke map, which became the choice of the Danish team. At the same time, the first half was held in an equal fight, since the Brazilians did not allow the opponent to open up in the attack. Nevertheless, after the switchover, Astralis was able to put more pressure on them with experience, thus taking the lead in the series — 16:14.

Next, the teams moved to the Mirage map, which was chosen by Imperial. At the same time, the Brazilians managed to open up here, demonstrating a quite confident attack and gaining three rounds of advantage. Well, after the change of sides, Imperial did not give up a single round to her opponent at all, thanks to which she evened the score in the series - 16:6.

Everything was decided on the Overpass map, the first half of which has already passed in an equal fight. After the change of sides, the scenario did not change, with the only difference being that the Brazilians caught up with the opponent over and over again. And yet, Astralis managed to keep the advantage in order to get into the playoffs of the Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 - 16:13.
