In a few hours, the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2022 Europe will start. In the championship, which will last until May 1, eight teams from Europe and Asia will compete for a prize pool of $67,500, rating points, as well as one slot at BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022. In this regard, we invite you to get acquainted with the format of the championship, participants and distribution of the tournament prize fund.

Format of BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2022 Europe

BLAST decided not to change the format of the Showdown series, limiting itself to the regional division of participants into two events: Europe and North America. At the same time, the championship format remained unchanged from last season, when teams were offered a playoff bracket with a single elimination. That is, the teams have only one chance to take the main prize - a ticket to BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022. And this means that the losing team is eliminated from the tournament. All matches of the championship, including the grand final, will be held in the BO3 format - no sensations.

Participants of BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2022 Europe
