Copenhagen Flames, Heroic, Dignitas and ECSTATIC to play in Pinnacle Winter Series 3 playoffs

Tournament operator Relog Media, in conjunction with Pinnacle Esports, has announced the list of teams that have been invited to the Pinnacle Winter Series 3 quarterfinals. Among the invited teams are Copenhagen Flames, Heroic, Dignitas and ECSTATIC, who will compete for the lion's share of the $84,000 prize pool.

Following the results of the main stage of the championship, eight teams formed the grid of the first round of the playoffs. The winners of the starting series will proceed to the quarter-finals of Pinnacle Winter Series 3, where they will play with invited teams.

The competition grid looks like this:

  • SKADE - Wisła Kraków: The winner will advance to Dignitas.
  • Endpoint - GamerLegion: The winner will advance to Copenhagen Flames.
  • MOUZ NXT - Ungentium: The winner will go to ECSTATIC.
  • Eternal Fire - Apeks: The winner will go to Heroic.

Note that the teams that receive invitations to the championship will receive a portion of the prize pool if they win Pinnacle Winter Series 3. The rest of the prize pool is distributed among the participants in the early stages.

Pinnacle Winter Series 3 runs from February 28 to March 16 online. 28 teams are vying for a $84,000 prize pool and a ticket to LAN Sweet LAN 2022.
