The European esports organization G2 Esports has announced changes to the CS:GO starting roster for the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 15. Since Aleksib tested positive for coronavirus, his place on the server will be taken by AMANEK, who came with the rest of the team to Germany as a substitute player.

Due to a positive test for coronavirus, Aleksib will not be able to immediately join the guys in the ESL Pro League. He will join the team as soon as he tests negative for COVID.

As a result, our super-reserve AMANEK will join the boys while Aleksib is unable to compete.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that AMANEK has helped G2 Esports while outside of the starting roster. As part of the playoffs of the last Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice, the 28-year-old Frenchman replaced XTQZZZ when he fell ill with the coronavirus and failed to get to Spodek Arena.

ESL Pro League Season 15 will take place from March 9 to April 10 in Cologne. 24 teams will compete for a prize pool of $823,000, as well as a ticket to the BLAST World Final 2022, which will go to the winner.

G2 Esports will compete in Group A, which also includes NIP, Entropiq, fnatic, MOUZ and LookingForOrg.
