NaVi CS:GO captain Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov passed two negative tests and is ready to return to the rest of the team ahead of the match against FURIA. The organizers of IEM Katowice 2022 announced this on their Twitter.

In the last 48 hours, Boombl4 has had two negative PCR tests. After consulting with local medical professionals, he was cleared to come out of isolation for medical reasons and can participate in IEM Katowice 2022 from the tournament zone with NAVI.

Recall that Boombl4 reported a positive PCR test received upon arrival in Poland. The captain of NAVI played the first game against ENCE from the hotel, which still did not prevent the team from winning the first championship.

The Russian esportsman was originally supposed to play the entire group stage from his room as the country is quarantined for seven days, but after receiving two negative PCR tests and consulting local medical officials, Boombl4 was allowed to join his teammates.

The next test of strength for NAVI will be the meeting against the Brazilian team FURIA. The winner of the match will receive a place in the playoffs of IEM Katowice 2022, and will also advance to the final group stage of the championship.
