Vitality and FaZe Clan got their first wins at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022. In the debut matches of the championship, the teams outplayed Evil Geniuses (16:3) and Team Liquid (19:15), respectively. Now Vitality and FaZe Clan will compete for the right to reach the grand finals of group C, while Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid will play for the 4th place in their quartet.

Vitality-Evil Geniuses

The debut meeting of the third quartet took place on the Inferno map. However, the updated composition of Vitality started right off the bat, literally smearing the opponent's attacking attempts. As a result, Evil Geniuses managed to take only three rounds per attack, actually signing their helplessness. After the side switch, the Danish-French team continued to put pressure on them, dotting all the i's very quickly — 16:3.

FaZe Clan-Team Liquid

The second match of the gaming day also took place on the Inferno map. At the start of the series, it might have seemed that the teams would show an equal fight. However, closer to the side switching, FaZe Clan players managed to disperse their attack, getting a comfortable advantage before the start of the second half — 9:6. However, the change of sides transformed Team Liquid players, who quickly caught the wave in attack, not only closing the gap, but also managing to run ahead. It seemed that the North American team would quickly close the series, but FaZe Clan managed to win back and draw, and then snatch victory in overtime — 19:15.

Let's note the successful debut of ropz for FaZe Clan. The Estonian esportsman turned out to be the best on the server, finishing the map with a rating of 1.60.
