The Danish team Heroic becomes the first semi-finalist of PGL Major Stockholm 2021. In the quarterfinals of the tournament, the team proved to be stronger than Virtus.pro with a score of 2: 1. Now Heroic has to face the winner of the G2 - NIP pair.

The first quarterfinal of PGL Major Stockholm 2021 started on the Mirage map, which became the choice of the CIS team. However, the Danes managed to seize the initiative, gaining a minimal advantage over the side switching. In the second half, the game continued in an equal fight, until Virtus.pro began to commit and let go of the situation. In turn, Heroic players skillfully used the opponent's gift to take the first card and take the lead - 16:10.

Next, the teams got to the Ancient map. Now the first half has ended with a minimal advantage of the team from the CIS. At the same time, even after the change of sides, Virtus.pro continued to put pressure on the opponent, gradually running forward. But Heroic was not particularly happy with this alignment, as the team gradually straightened out the situation and got good chances to close the streak. However, Virtus.pro showed character here, managing to save the situation and snatch victory at the opponent's pick - 16:13.

Everything was decided on the Inferno map, where the starting advantage remained with the Danish team. It seemed that in defense, Virtus.pro would be able to return to the game, until the Danes showed their entire set of rounds and recorded the final victory with a score of 16:12.
