The third round of PGL Major Stockholm 2021 Challengers Stage has ended, following which the Brazilian teams GODSENT and Sharks left Stockholm. In turn, the teams Astralis and paiN still have to play in the fourth round for the right to stay in the championship and fight for a ticket to the Legends stage.

Astralis - GODSENT

The meeting of two frankly different teams began on the Nuke map, which became the choice of the Danish team. However, already in the first half, Astralis' experience and attitude practically predetermined the outcome of the first map, since the Danes rushed over the opponent in attack - 13: 2. But even after the change of sides, the Brazilians were not inspired, deciding to finally and irrevocably give the victory to Astralis - 16: 3.

It seemed that the Brazilians would show themselves at Vertigo. However, after a successful start, GODSENT not only calmed down, but also let go of the opponent, who received a two-fold advantage over the side switching. In the second half, the game turned out to be more equal, as the Brazilian team managed to get their hands on the economy. And yet this turned out to be not enough, since Astralis once again showed coolness, having issued a departure for the GODSENT team - 16:11.

paiN - Sharks

In parallel with this, the Brazilian drama developed, which began on the Vertigo map. And if at the start paiN showed aggression, thereby taking the rounds, then after the change of sides the team's play fell apart, and at the same time Sharks began to catch up. As a result, the teams went into overtime, where the Sharks players turned out to be stronger - 19:16.

Next, the teams ended up on the Ancient map, which again did not go without drama. After the first half, paiN, which chose the card, was ready to chalk up the defeat. However, the successful ending in defense allowed the team to make a comeback, again transferring the meeting to overtime. And yet paiN managed to save herself from defeat, and at the same time reduce the fight to a desider - 22:20.

Everything was decided on the Nuke map, which, surprisingly, passed without much struggle. Ultimately, paiN closed the rival without any problems, thus getting another extra day at PGL Major Stockholm 2021 Challengers Stage - 16: 4.
