The Russian esports organization EXTREMUM has decided to disband its CS: GO roster. The organization reported this on its social networks.
“It was a difficult week for EXTREMUM: losing against Evil Geniuses was one of the worst possible scenarios as the main goal of the organization and the team was to get to the PGL Major. It was an incredible year of working with players for the entire organization. But it was time to make decisions. No matter how difficult they are. At the moment, the composition is sent to the reserve, its further fate is unknown, " - said the organization EXTREMUM.
The former 100 Thieves joined EXTREMUM in January 2021. For ten months, the team did not manage to justify itself, being remembered only by getting into the TOP-4 in the Winstrike CIS Cup Spring 2021, as well as the bronze at cs_summit 8.
At the last Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Fall: North America, the team to the very last claimed a trip to Stockholm, where the PGL Major will take place. However, in the decisive match for the 5th place at the EXTREMUM tournament, they lost to Evil Geniuses, thereby finishing sixth in the regional table.
The latest EXTREMUM lineup looks like this:
- kassad (trainer).
