Checkmate became the winner of the first open qualifier for IEM Fall 2021 Asia, securing a ticket to the closed qualification stage for the RMR tournament. In the final of IEM Fall 2021 Asia Open Qualifier 1, the Mongolian team, without a chance, dealt with INDINDA with a score of 2: 0.
Checkmate was rightfully considered the favorite of this qualification, which, in fact, proved at first, by closing YimageN (16: 2), Ink Esports (16:11), ARAVT (16: 9) and Lynn Vision (16: 7), so that deal with INDINDA in the finale in a similar manner.

Currently, the names of three participants in the closed qualifier for IEM Fall 2021 Asia are known: Invictus, Wings Up and Checkmate. Note that the fate of the last slot will be known based on the results of the final open qualifier, which will be held online from September 11 to 12.
