The Road to The International Day 4 Schedule (Elimination Round)

The Road to The International Day 4 Schedule (Elimination Round)

The fourth day of The International 2025 will be anything but boring, as only the Elimination Round matches remain, and predicting which teams would end up here was nearly impossible in advance. We invite you to take a look at the schedule of the penultimate day before the main stage of The International 2025, the results of the previous days, and some brief predictions.

Day 4 Schedule

Four matches are scheduled for September 7, each of them an elimination match.

All matches will be played in a best-of-three format.

Aurora vs Nigma Galaxy

The first match of the day, and the second overall in the Elimination Round, will be between Nigma and Aurora. This promises to be an exciting clash with a very unpredictable outcome. Aurora have slowly started to gain form, improving with each match, while Nigma’s problems are not so easy to fix. The team has a strong midlaner in SumaiL and an excellent support in GH, but their carry and offlaner often underperform, which sometimes becomes a decisive weakness. It’s hard to name a clear favorite here, but most likely this will be a full best-of-three series going to all three maps.

PARIVISION vs Wildcard

By this time, PVISION should have recovered from their bitter defeat against BB Team, and they are expected to approach this crucial match against Wildcard with a clear head. To be honest, this matchup looks quite easy for PARIVISION. The only way they could lose is by drafting something really unusual or off-meta; otherwise, Wildcard doesn’t seem to stand much of a chance against them.

Team Liquid vs Tundra Esports

Probably the second most interesting matchup of the day. It will be a special clash for 33 as he faces his former teammates. Truth be told, at this year’s The International, Team Liquid have looked rather underwhelming. On the other hand, Tundra, despite having a roster change, still look competitive and intriguing. Judging by the overall performances, it feels like Tundra Esports will move forward, leaving Liquid to bow out of The International.

Team Falcons vs Team Spirit

This is undoubtedly the most exciting match of Day 4. It’s a shame these two teams meet so early in the elimination stage, as they were considered the top two squads before The International even began. In terms of form, Falcons look quite solid: their drafts are consistently strong, individual performances are sharp, and their macro play is impressive. Team Spirit, however, have shown questionable drafts and at times don’t look like the two-time TI champions. Based on the current trajectory, Falcons should be the ones advancing. Still, you can never fully count Spirit out—maybe history will repeat itself, and they’ll bring back their magic at this year’s The International, at least while there’s still time.

Based on yesterday’s matches, we now have four teams that have already secured their spots in the playoffs: Xtreme Gaming, Tideboud, BB Team, and HEROIC. The last of these earned their place after facing Yakutou Brothers in the Elimination Round, where they claimed a comfortable 2:0 victory, with Meepo playing a key role on both maps.
