Predictions for Day 2 of The International 2025
Here’s a brief look at our predictions for each match on the second day. Every game at The International is crucial for the teams, and there are no “boring” matches at this event!
Xtreme Gaming vs Team Falcons
Probably the most exciting match of the day. Both teams have shown strong performances and truly engaging gameplay. Predicting the winner here is extremely difficult — it will largely depend on the live drafts. However, it’s very likely the series will go all three maps. As for the winner, it’s hard to say, but Falcons come in as slight favorites.
Team Spirit vs Tundra Esports
Arguably the second most interesting match of the day. Both teams currently sit at one win and one loss. Tundra Esports are performing quite well despite having Tobi as a stand-in. As for Team Spirit, they’ve shown issues with their drafts. If they manage to fix that, this series could very well end 2:0 in their favor.
Aurora Gaming vs Yakutou Brothers
Aurora are considered the nominal favorites here. However, Yakutou Brothers deserve attention — they look more prepared and, most importantly, show stronger teamplay. We believe Aurora may struggle in this match, and while the series might still go to all three maps, Yakutou Brothers could have the upper hand.
Team Nemesis vs Wildcard Gaming
Although both teams come into this with two series losses, Nemesis look much better and are actually fun to watch. They came close to beating Falcons and put up a strong fight against Yakutou Brothers. Wildcard, on the other hand, seem out of ideas, with many questionable macro decisions. We are confident Nemesis will take this series, possibly even with a 2:0 score.
PARIVISION vs Team Tidebound
PARIVISION have surprised everyone with their drafts at this The International. We’ve already seen them run carry Tinker, Alchemist, and even Slark as position 4 — and, most importantly, these unorthodox picks have actually worked for them. Their play is not flawless, but very solid overall. Tidebound, in comparison, look underwhelming despite beating NaVi and Liquid earlier. We expect PARIVISION to win, though a full best-of-three is still possible.
Nigma Galaxy vs Team Liquid
Nigma Galaxy have been a pleasant surprise, with standout performances from SumaiL and GH, both in incredible form. However, their carry Ghost has been underperforming at times, which directly affects the results. As for Liquid, they remain unpredictable — if they find their rhythm, they can bulldoze through many teams, but so far their play has been shaky. Even so, we believe Liquid should take the win here.
Natus Vincere vs BetBoom Team
The young Natus Vincere roster didn’t show their best game yesterday, with too many mistakes and misplays. Meanwhile, BB Team looked completely lost against Nigma, failing to respond to the Lone Druid who dismantled their base with his bear. We think NaVi are capable of beating this version of BB Team, especially with possible roster changes looming for them after the tournament. Still, betting on NaVi is risky — though it’s fairly safe to assume they’ll at least take one map.
BOOM Esports vs HEROIC
Two underdogs of The International 2025. It’s tough to say what kind of match we can expect here. Heroic look slightly better than BOOM on paper, but we wouldn’t recommend betting on this series — unless you analyze the drafts live.
Day 2 of The International 2025 promises intense action and unexpected moments. While some matches have clear favorites, Dota 2 has always been a game of surprises, and underdogs can shine at any time. Fans can expect exciting three-map battles, emerging talent, and key storylines that could define the tournament. Every team will be fighting for momentum, and the opening day sets the tone for the rest of the championship.
