In the latest CS: GO update, the developers have seriously changed the Dust 2 map. Now a new wall has appeared on the map, which prevents the attacking side from viewing the center.

One added texture completely changes the structure of the Dust2 game. There will be no more sniper firefights at the beginning of the round, the attacking players cannot see where the counter-terrorists are moving. This change will make the attack game much more difficult due to less information. Now terrorists are more vulnerable to the pressures of the mid and Temka from the side of the defense.

At the same time, the terrorists can still fire with the defense players in the mid lane, but for this you need to jump down, where they can target the counter-terrorists with the sniper.

Side of protection

Defenders B and mid can breathe easy, as now they will not be in any danger. You do not need to give the starting smack from the box to run through the doors. The freed grenade can be spent on closing the suicide and deep pressing the mid lane.

Another advantage of defense is that now one player can stand on B, and the attack will not be able to find out about it.

In this case, you manage to take a comfortable position in the mid with the same timing as the player entering the palm tree from the T-spawn. Previously, such a pressure was impossible, since the attack sniper would still shoot the commandos in the mid lane.

Of course, since the attack sniper no longer sees the door, you can easily squeeze the bottom Temka or pick mid with AWP, trying to shoot the player on suicide. Due to the fact that now, when the mid lane is picked, you do not need to aim at the player on the T-spawn.

Outcome

The developers are trying to balance the map, and the latest changes are aimed at increasing the win rate for the defense side. With other innovations in the game, such as increased damage from m4a1-s, counter-terrorists will feel more comfortable.
