Of course, every second match in FACEIT or matchmaking can’t avoid the map Mirage, every corner of which is familiar even to beginners. Nevertheless, we continue our series of materials dedicated to the positions on one or other maps. The main focus is made on the positions usually used by professional teams and players.
Thanks to the received knowledge, you can significantly boost communication and become stronger in the terms of team play. In other words, detailed knowledge of all map Mirage callouts will allow you to more accurately share information with teammates and quickly respond to the situation in CSGO matches.
T-Spawn and A Plant
Like before, we will start the review of the callouts from the perspective of the attacking players. In this case, the attackers choose bombsite A where there are enough interesting positions where the players of the opposing side can be.
- T-Spawn: A place where the players of the attacking side spawn.
- T Roof: It is a small hinged structure in front of the pit, from where grenades are usually thrown to occupy the point.
- Ramp: This position connects the T-Spawn and bombsite A. It is one of the options to enter the spot for the attacking players. There is a small corner where you can hide and watch for an aggressive attack from an opponent.
- Palace: It is a closed building, which is the second direction to enter the A Plant.
- Pillars: This position is located in the palace. It is a set of columns, behind which players can hide and wait for their opponents.
- Balcony: The entrance from the palace to the bombsite A.
- Shadow: This position is located under the balcony and is a cover for the defensive players when the attacking team exits the palace.
- Tetris: The construction of boxes and concrete blocks, located along the right wall in front of the ramp.
- Firebox: The cover behind the boxes next to the default.
- A Default Plant: A standard spot to plant C4. It is located near the grouped boxes in front of the palace.
- Sandwich: This position is located between the stairs and Tetris. It serves as a cover both while holding the bombsite during the retake and defense.
- Ninja: The position is a hidden corner behind the boxes that lead to the firebox.
- Triple: It is located behind the high crates right after the exit from the CT-Spawn.
- Bench: A set of benches located along the wall behind the triple.
- Stairs: It is the stairs at the exit from the connector. It serves as the default position of the defensive player who controls the exit from the palace.
- Ticket: A position that includes a box and a small column. It is the standard point for the defensive sniper.
- Trash: A trash can is located opposite the ticket. It serves as both a cover and a spot for the potential boost.
- Connector: A small space that connects the middle of the map and bombsite A. There are a few corners, each of which can be used to peek at one or another part of the middle.
- Jungle: This position leads from the window to A plant. It is a set of small covers that serve as points to deter attackers.

Mid
Now, let’s move toward the middle of the map where there are a few interesting positions, each of which has its callout.
- Side Alley: A space that is a path from the T-Spawn toward the middle of the map. It is a set of turns after a small staircase.
- Apps Ramp: This position serves as a connecting element between the T-Spawn and the entrance to the apartments.
- Cart: A set of a few small boxes located behind the stairs. It is a cover for the attacking players who wait for the aggressive attack from the defense in the middle of the map.
- Alley: The position before going to the middle of the map. It is usually used to indicate the very corner beyond which a sniper can be boosted.
- Mid Boxes: A set of boxes, which are held by the attacking players while entering the middle of the map.
- Minidelphan: A small cover located on the side of the boxes in the middle of the map.
- Chair: A position that is a hidden corner near the connector entrance. Suitable for players who control the entry of the opponent to the short.
- Catwalk: This position connects the middle of the map and the short. It starts from the alley and ends just before the turn to the short.
- Mid: It is the general callout meaning the center of the map.
- Under Window: The position taken by attacking players to control the middle of the map from different directions. It represents a spot below the jungle window.
- Underpass: An underground passage that connects the apartments and the middle of the map.
- B Short: A zigzag area that connects the middle of the map and the bombsite B.
- Sniper's Nest: It is an open window that connects the jungle and allows the defense sniper to view the exit to the middle of the map.
- Ladder Room: A small room that serves as a hiding place for defensive players. It is a closed space with a ladder connecting the short to the window through the vents.
- Vent: This position is located in the ladder and represents the grid being broken.
CT-Spawn and B Cross
Let’s take a look at the positions that are encountered on the way by the defenders toward bombsite B.
- CT-Spawn: A place where the players of the defensive side spawn.
- Flower: A small podium with a flower, which is located in front of the entrance to the market.
- Blocks: A set of blocks located at both sides in front of the entrance to the jungle from the side of the CT-Spawn.
- Market: The general name of the room that connects the CT-Spawn and the B plant entrance.
- Window: A small window overlooking bombsite B from the market.
- Sneaky: A position that serves as a cover for attacking players when C4 is planted. It is located above the shelving in the market.
- Main: A space that directly connects the market and the B site. In other words, it represents an exit to the site.
B Cross and B Plant
It is time to consider the callouts on the map Mirage, which the attacking players will see while entering the bombsite B and at the site itself.
- TV: It represents the entrance to the apartments from the T-Spawn. The position got its name from the TV located along the wall.
- House: A space that connects the entrance to the apartments and the stairs leading to the metro.
- T Kitchen: A small corner located in front of the apartment at the exit to the B site.
- Apartments: It is the general name of the passage to the B site.
- Balcony: A small podium at the exit in front of the apartments.
- Car: This position is located on the descent from the apartments.
- Arches: The space behind the column is located near the short.
- Short Corner: A hidden corner is located under the apartments next to the arches.
- 90: The most extreme point on the B site, located along the market. Represents a right angle, convenient for controlling the retake.
- Backsite: The space behind the C4 plant spot.
- Boost Boxes: A position that is located inside the B site. To jump on the box, you need a teammate boost.
- Bench: A place that is a separate space, closed by a small stonework.
- B Default Plant: A standard spot to plant C4. In this case, the bomb is planted under the boost box.
- B1: The spot to plant C4, located in the corner closest to the main.
- B2: The spot to plant C4 under the short.
These were the main callouts existing on the map Mirage. Perhaps, it is not difficult to learn them because, with each gaming experience, the information will be understood easier.
