Bren Esports will miss VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters Berlin

Bren Esports has announced that it will skip the upcoming VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters Berlin. A team from the Philippines will not be able to fly to Germany due to visa problems. The information has already been confirmed by Riot Games, telling about changes in the format of the championship.

Since the winner of VCT 2021: Southeast Asia Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs will not be able to fly into the country, Riot Games. Referring to the experience of holding League of Legends tournaments, I decided to reduce the number of participants in Group D to three teams: Sentinels, G2 and F4Q.

A few days after the team qualified for VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters Berlin, rumors began to circulate about Bren Esports' difficulties in obtaining tourist visas by the authorities. On the local list, the Philippines is classified as a "high risk country", which means that players will have to follow strict guidelines set by the German Federal Ministry of Health. However, the deadline within which Bren Esports could submit documents and attend the championship has expired.
