Gambit Advances to VCT Grand Final 2021: Stage 3 Masters Berlin

Team Gambit has reached the grand final of VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters Berlin. In the semifinals of the championship, the Russian team turned out to be stronger than G2 with a score of 2: 0.

The battle for a place in the grand final began on the Breeze map, which became the choice of the Russian team. Despite the start on the weak side, Gambit showed good defense, gaining a psychological advantage over the side switching. Already in the second half, the Russian team continued to tear apart G2, repeatedly launching nAts on the hunt. As a result, it was not difficult for Gambit to close the opponent with a score of 13:10, leaving a claim to win the series.

The Europeans finally sailed to Icebox, unable to come up with anything in defense. It would seem that G2 picked one of the best maps she should fight on. But 12: 0 in favor of Gambit after the first half came as a real shock for the European team, which got used to their position, finally capitulating after the second pistol round.

Tomorrow, September 19, Gambit will meet in the VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters Berlin grand final with the winner of the 100 Thieves - Team Envy pair. In turn, G2 is in third place in the championship, earning $ 85,000 and 325 points.
