Team Envy becomes the second finalist of VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters Berlin

Team Envy becomes the second finalist of VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters Berlin. In the semifinals, the team coped with their compatriots from 100 Thieves with a score of 2: 0, getting a chance to compete for victory in the main championship of the fall.

The semi-finals kicked off on the Haven map, which was Team Envy's choice. Despite the earlier advantage of 100 Thieves, the “hosts” quickly regained the initiative, and at the same time showed an excellent streak in the attack, taking nine rounds in a row. After such 100 Thieves had no chance to recoup, giving Team Envy a deserved victory on their own choice - 13: 5.

There was a little more struggle on Ascent, because in this situation 100 Thieves made every effort to win a little more rounds than the map earlier. However, after the changeover, Team Envy was able to win the opening rounds, and at the same time seize the economic advantage, which ultimately led the team to victory - 13: 8.

Tomorrow, September 19, Team Envy will face Gambit in the VCT 2021 Grand Final: Stage 3 Masters Berlin. In turn, 100 Thieves are in 3-4 place in the championship, earning $ 85,000 and 325 points.
