Sentinels became the champions of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Masters Madrid

The VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Masters Madrid has come to a close. Following the group stage and playoff rounds, the winners were the team Sentinels from North America. In the grand final, TenZ and company narrowly defeated Gen.G Esports after an intense battle. Gen.G Esports came close to victory, but at the decisive moment, Sentinels proved stronger and won the grand final with a score of 3:2.

The grand final of the tournament was held in a best-of-5 format, and the teams were so closely matched that all five maps were needed to determine the champions.

It was indeed a bitter defeat for Gen.G Esports in the grand final, especially considering that they had previously defeated Sentinels in the semifinals with a score of 2:1. Moreover, on the map Split (which Gen.G Esports lost 13:10 in the grand final), they had dominated Sentinels with a score of 13:5 earlier in the tournament. However, today the North American team showed a slight edge over their opponents.
