From the European region, three teams made it to VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen — Fnatic, FunPlus Phoenix and Guild Esports. At the same time, the British club won the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers, thus receiving the best seed in the upcoming championship. We can only hope that FunPlus Phoenix will not experience problems with a trip to the championship, as it did in the spring with Reykjavik.
From North America, XSET and OpTic Gaming will play in the championship. Moreover, the Masters 1 champion in Iceland took only second place in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers, as a result of which he will have to start his journey in Copenhagen from the group stage.
The two lucky winners from Southeast Asia were Paper Rex and XERXIA. However, DRX and Northeption will represent South Korea and Japan respectively.
The first, and we hope, not the only representative of Brazil will be the LOUD team, which became the champion of VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Brazil Stage 2 Challengers. The VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen will be Leviatán for the United Latin America region.
The last slot for the championship will be played by Ninjas in Pajamas and KRÜ Esports, who will play as part of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: South America Stage 2 Playoffs at the end of June.
The current roster for VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen is as follows: Guild Esports, Fnatic, FunPlus Phoenix, OpTic Gaming, DRX, XSET, XERXIA, Leviatán, LOUD, Paper Rex and Northeption.
VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen will take place July 10-24 in Copenhagen in a mixed format. The first weeks of the championship will be held in a studio format, while the final three days will take place at the Forum venue. As part of the championship, twelve participants from Europe, North and South America, Brazil, Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia will play for an unannounced prize pool, as well as rating points.
Note that the last three days of the championship will be held at the Forum in front of the audience. Tickets for the event will go on sale on Friday, July 1st.
