LOUD is the first grand finalist of VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík

The LOUD team outplayed OpTic Gaming with a score of 2:1 and reached the grand final of VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík. The Brazilian team got an extra day of rest to prepare for the final battle. In turn, the North Americans from OpTic Gaming fell to the finals of the lower bracket, where they will try to return to the winning path, meeting with ZETA DIVISION.

The upper bracket final between LOUD and OpTic Gaming started under the sign of the superiority of the North American team, which took the lead after a confident performance on the Fracture map. However, on Ascent and Icebox, the Brazilians managed to impose their pace, thereby forcing the opponent to make mistakes. As a result, LOUD turned out to be the strongest on the two remaining maps, thus guaranteeing itself a place in the grand final of the competition.

In the lower bracket, the Japanese team ZETA DIVISION managed to cope with the representatives of Paper Rex with a score of 2:1, which secured a place in the TOP-3 of the tournament. In turn, Paper Rex left VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík, earning $65,000 and 300 points.

VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík runs from 10 to 24 April. Twelve teams from all over the world are competing for a $650,000 prize pool and ranking points.
