Team Liquid and The Guard left VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík. In the first round of the lower bracket, they failed to cope with ZETA DIVISION (1:2) and Paper Rex (0:2), thus completing their performances in the championship.

In the first match, the Japanese team ZETA DIVISION made another sensation, having managed to beat Team Liquid with a score of 2:1. In the next match, the Indonesian team Paper Rex decided to keep up with their colleagues, beating The Guard with a score of 2:0.

Today, April 17, the semi-final matches will take place. G2 Esports and LOUD will play in the first of them, while DRX and OpTic Gaming will face each other in the evening.

VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík runs from 10 to 24 April. Twelve teams from all over the world are competing for a $650,000 prize pool and ranking points.
