Results of the group stage VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters Berlin

The group stage of VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters Berlin has come to an end, which means that it's time to take stock. At the same time, the play-off grid has already been formed, while the quarterfinals start on September 17.

Group A

The main discovery in this quartet was the Vision Strikers team, which not only made it to the playoffs, but also won two victories, simultaneously closing Acend. The Turkish team SuperMassive Blaze stood out with a minus sign, which already on the first day of the game lost to Acend and rolled back to the lower bracket.

Trouble overtook Acend itself, which, as you already know, underestimated the South Korean team and did not show anything in an important match. As for Paper Rex, no sensation happened - the team, as expected, did not cope with the pressure and took the last place in their group.

Group A table

A place Command Result Round difference
1 Vision strikers 2-0 +16
2 Acend 2-1 +4
3 Supermassive blaze 1-2 -2
4 Paper rex 0-2 -eighteen

Group B

In the next quartet, there were no sensations, as Team Envy confidently took their ticket to the playoffs without losing a single map. The main struggle unfolded for the second ticket to the quarterfinals, which was played by KRÜ Esports and Keyd Stars. However, in the face-to-face fight, the Brazilians did not come up with anything against the South Americans, taking third place in their quartet. As for ZETA DIVISION, the team did not show anything interesting, as expected, taking the last place.

Group B table

A place Command Result Round difference
1 Team envy 2-0 +21
2 KRÜ Esports 2-1 -eight
3 Keyd stars 1-2 +9
4 ZETA DIVISION 0-2 -22

Group C

In the next group, there was a little more struggle, as we saw a sharp rivalry between NA and CIS. Nevertheless, in the face-to-face struggle, 100 Thieves proved their worth on the world stage, taking first place in their quartet. However, Gambit also showed a cool game that deserves attention. That only is the starting defeat of Crazy Raccoon, complemented by the final confrontation with the Japanese team. Well, the main disappointment of Group C was the Havan Liberty team, which could not cope with the excitement and left in two matches in a row.

Group C table

A place Command Result Round difference
1 100 Thieves 2-0 +14
2 Gambit 2-1 +34
3 Crazy raccoon 1-2 -22
4 Havan Liberty 0-2 -26

Group D

In the last group, the main struggle was concentrated in the hands of two teams - G2 and Sentinels. However, in this case, it is worth scolding the North American team, which decided to experiment at the end of the group stage, having lost their starting advantage.

As a result, the winner of the group became the G2 team, which, having lost one meeting, turned out to be stronger than the Sentinels in terms of the round difference. In turn, the North American team will have to prepare for the quarterfinals, in which no one is going to forgive mistakes.

The last place in this trio was taken by the F4Q team, which took two cards in four matches, which is already a good result for a debutant of major tournaments.

Group D table

A place Command Result Round difference
1 G2 3-1 +31
2 Sentinels 3-1 +23
3 F4Q 0-4 -54
