The matchup took place in the Elimination Bracket (Group C), where the loss forced EDward Gaming out of the tournament, placing them in the 13th–16th spot overall.
The series unfolded dramatically: Liquid claimed the opening map on Sunset, EDG responded with a win on Abyss, but the decisive battle on Bind went in favor of Team Liquid, who managed to edge out their opponents and seal the series.
VALORANT Champions 2025 is the largest tournament in the VALORANT discipline, serving as the grand finale of the VALORANT Champions Tour that took place throughout 2025.
