League of Legends EWC 2025 About to Start: Tournament Announcement
Starting on July 16, 2025, the League of Legends EWC 2025 matches will kick off! 12 of the world’s best teams from 6 regions, all of whom qualified through their regional leagues, will compete for the championship title.

- T1 (EWC 2024 Champion LCK)
- Anyone`s Legend (LPL Split 2)
- Bilibili Gaming (LPL Split 2)
- Hanwha Life Esports (LCK Road to MSI)
- GAM Esports (LCP Mid Season)
- MKOI (LEC Spring)
- G2 Esports (LEC Spring)
- FURIA (LTA South Split 2)
- FlyQuest (LTA North Split 2)
- Cloud9 (LTA North Split 2)
- CTBC Flying Oysters (LCP Mid Season)
The tournament will take place in two stages. First is the Group Stage, featuring 8 teams that did not qualify directly for the Playoffs. Only 4 of them will advance to the Playoffs. All Group Stage matches will be played in a Bo1 format, making every game tense and unpredictable.
The Playoffs will feature some of the strongest teams in the world right now: Gen.G, T1, AG.AL, and BLG. These four teams finished in the top 4 at MSI 2025 and are the favorites to win this tournament.
Remember, LoL EWC 2025 will run from July 16 to July 20 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at the STC Esports Arena. The prize pool for the tournament is $2,000,000 USD.
