Riot Games announced on their official website that they have started working with AfreecaTV, a new broadcast partner for the LoL European Championship.

AfreecaTV will cover the ongoing League of Legends league in the European division. The company will broadcast events in two languages: Korean and English. Thanks to the work of AfreecaTV, even more people will be able to watch as six of the best European teams will share a total prize pool of 200,000 euros and four invitations to the 2022 World Championship between each other. The teams will also compete for the main reward of 80,000 euros and the LEC Summer 2022 champion title.

It is noteworthy that other representatives of the eSports world also have partnerships with AfreecaTV. For example, the Korean eSports club Kwangdong Freecs, which has been participating in major league matches in Korea, LCK since 2016.
