In turn, the teams Anyone's Legend, ThunderTalk Gaming, Invictus Gaming, Rare Atom, LGD Gaming, Ultra Prime and Team WE left the tournament, depriving themselves of the chance to go to the 2022 World Championship.

LPL Summer 2022 runs from June 10 to September 1 in China. As part of the championship, seventeen Chinese teams are fighting for a prize pool of $622,989, rating points, and one ticket to the 2022 World Championship.

The 2022 World Championship will take place from September 29 to November 5 in Mexico and the United States. The Play-In stage will take place from September 29 to October 4 at the Arena Esports Stadium in Mexico City, and the group stage will take place from October 7-10 and October 13-16 at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. As part of the championship, 24 teams from all over the world (excluding the CIS) will compete for a total prize pool of $2,225,000.
The championship will begin with a preliminary stage, in which 12 out of 24 teams will take part:

- South Korea (LCK) is the team that finished 4th in the split.
- Europe (LEC) - teams that took 3rd and 4th places in the split.
- North America (LCS) is the team that finished 3rd in the split.

- Vietnam (VCS) is the team that took 2nd place in the split.
- Brazil (CBLOL) - Team 1st in Split
- Japan (LJL) – team that finished 1st in the split
- Latin America (LLA) - 1st place team in the split
- Oceania (LCO) - the team that took 1st place in the split.
- Turkey (TCL) is the team that took 1st place in the split.
The remaining teams automatically advance to the group stage:
