Rumor: Team Heretics may take Misfits place in LEC league

A French journalist and LFT reporter reported on his Twitter account that he had found interesting information about the LoL European Championships league. His sources say that soon we will be able to see a replacement in the list of league participants. Representatives of Misfits can vacate their place, which will be given to representatives of Team Heretics. Thus, the Spanish club will be able to move from the Spanish league to the European one.

Heretics are currently taking part in Superliga Division 1 Summer 2022 matches, the Spanish league without a prize pool, but with three invites to the EU Masters.

LEC Summer 2022, where the Misfits are still participating, runs from June to September. The total prize fund of the league is €200,000, which will be distributed among the top six participants in the league. In addition, the top four participants will receive invitations to the 2022 World Championship and cash prizes of €80,000, €50,000, €30,000 and €20,000 respectively.
