JD Gaming advanced to the LPL playoffs for the first time

JD Gaming managed to please their fans very well this season. For the first time in the history of the club, esportsmen were able to reach the playoffs of the Chinese league in League of Legends. Moreover, the team not only managed to get into the final stage, but also made it the first among all the participants in the LPL league. The summer split is quite successful for JD Gaming and the team already has 10 wins and 1 loss.

The top 2 also includes Top Esports, who recently won their tenth victory. This means that this team became the second one to reach the final stage of the event.

The group stage in LPL Summer 2022 is currently underway. 17 teams take part in it. In addition to Top Esports and JD Gaming, Victory Five, Anyone's Legend, Royal Never Give Up, EDward Gaming, Weibo Gaming, LNG Esports, Oh My God, ThunderTalk Gaming, FunPlus Phoenix, Bilibili Gaming, Ultra are also fighting for the right to reach the playoffs Prime, Rare Atom, LGD Gaming, Invictus Gaming and Team WE.

LPL Summer 2022 runs from June 10 to August 14. The total prize fund of the championship is $627,000. The winner will receive almost $300,000 and an invitation to the 2022 World Championship. Vice-champion and bronze medalist will receive ~$150,000 and ~$75,000 respectively. Teams that take the 7th-8th place in the standings and below will be left without cash rewards.
