Evil Geniuses are the favorites of LCS Summer 2022 according to the results of the third week

All matches of the third gaming week have come to an end. According to their results, Evil Geniuses secured their place in the standings as the main favorite. Now they have six victories and only one defeat. 100 Thieves and Team Liquid occupy the second and third lines in the group stage table, having five wins and two losses each. FlyQuest and Counter Logic Gaming follow Liquid and take 4th and 5th places with a score of 4-3. Golden Guardians and Cloud9 are on the 6th and 7th lines with a score of 3-4. Dignitas and TSM were able to earn only two wins in three weeks and lost five times each. Immortals close the top ten participants, having only one victory against six defeats.

According to the results of the group stage, the top eight participants will advance to the playoffs. Teams that will enter the top 2 participants in the group stage will start their journey immediately from the semi-finals. The teams ranked 3rd-6th will advance to the quarter-finals of the upper bracket, while the teams that take 7th-8th positions in the group stage will start in the lower bracket.

The next matches of the tournament will start on July 16. The championship with a prize pool of $200,000 runs from June 18 to August 14. The entire financial fund will be distributed among the four best participants in the championship. The first three will receive $100,000, $50,000 and $30,000 respectively + invitations to the 2022 World Championship, and the team that takes fourth place will be left without an invitation to the LoL World Championship. He will have to settle for a consolation prize of $20,000.
