SK Gaming wrote a message on their Twitter account, in which they announced the replacements made in the roster. Jean 'Jezu' Massol will not be able to play in the upcoming LEC Summer 2022 matches. His place in the team will be temporarily taken by Ilya 'Gadget' Makavchuk, a carry from SK Prime. It is noteworthy that in the matches of the second week, where SK Gaming lost in the fight against Astralis and Misfits Gaming, Jean played in not the best of health.

SK Gaming tweeted the following to their fans:

We regret to inform you that due to ongoing health issues, Jean 'Jezu' Massol won't participate in our LEC matches this weekend.

Jezu was already feeling unwell last week, but chose to push through and play in our Week 2 games. After his condition didn't improve, in the beginning of this week we mutually decided that he will take some time off and focus on recovery.

Since then the team has been practicing together with SK Prime's AD carry Ilya 'Gadget' Makavchuk and he will also start in the LEC for Week 3. We'd like to take this moment to thank the entire SK Prime roster who have been very supportive and cooperative despite the impact the situation has on their practice.

We're hoping for Jezu's quick return to health and will provide further updates as soon as they are available. We deeply appreciate your support for the team while we go through these out of our control circumstances.

Now SK Gaming is taking part in the European league of League of Legends, LEC Summer 2022. The 200,000 euro championship started on June 17 and will end in September. The winner will take the main reward in the form of 80,000 and receive the coveted invite to the 2022 World Championship. Vice-champion and bronze medalist will earn in turn 50,000 and 30,000 euros. They, as well as the winner of the event, will receive an invite to 2022 Worlds.

In the group stage, SK Gaming show an extremely unsatisfactory game and are in the last three places along with Misfits Gaming and Team BDS with 1-4 statistics. In the third week, SK will face the likes of Team Vitality and Rogue. The chances of winning are not very high, but the new Gadget can help the team win the upcoming matches
