LPL Summer 2022: digest for 11.06

Greetings to all eSports lovers! In this article, I will collect all the most basic and interesting information about the results of today's continental league and, accordingly, League of Legends Summer Split 2022. And if you didn't have time to watch the games yourself, this is a good opportunity to learn about the details quickly and in detail!

Summer, like any other splits, traditionally opened China instead with its LPL Summer 2022. This is due to the fact that China is much larger than other regions in terms of the number of teams, as many as 17, when the standard is 10. And, accordingly, the group stage should be carried out faster.

The first competitive week of the Celestial Summer Split started on Friday and will take up all three remaining days, and therefore will be the shortest and calmest in relation to the rest of the period until the playoffs. And so the second of three days of this game week has passed. Like yesterday, we had only two matches in a day, as it will be tomorrow.

In the battles, very, very equal teams came together: Anyone's Legend with Rare Atom with a score of 2:0 and JD Gaming with Top Esports with a score of 2:1. But if yesterday it was possible to single out clear favorites, it was clearly impossible to say the same about today. And even when many bookmakers and analysts preferred RA and TES, both teams lost.

In the very first digest, I already noted that even far from the best teams managed to prepare and find their own way to win for the summer split. Actually, what we could see in full glory today.

Anyone's Legend, who were at the bottom of the list throughout the LPL Spring 2022, defeated Rare Atom with a crushing score without any problems. If the first map was still more or less equal, then in the second map AL dictated their game.

Top Esports, who ended the spring split in the playoff finals, were knocked out by JD Gaming and their Wukong by Kanavi. Of course, JDG is an extremely strong team that has proven this. In turn, TES seemed to me extremely unstable and overvalued.

The most picked champions of the first day were the same Viego, Ahri and Vuknog as in the first day. They simply strengthened their positions. Slowly, they are being overtaken by combinations of Senna and Tahm Kench, which we have already seen a total of 5 times, but which no one really wants to ban.

Since yesterday, Ahri's win rate has plummeted from 100% to 57% in 7 games. But Viego managed to get around the fox both in terms of the number of picks and the win rate - 62% of wins over 8 games.

The title of the most hated champion of the day is deservedly won by Thalia. Today she was in the bath all 5 maps in two meetings of the teams. Also, since yesterday, Lucian and Gwen have remained popular bans.

Now let's go through what we saw interesting in these two matches. Lucine was taken twice (once by AL, and once again by JDG) and twice he became a bone in the throat for the opposing team in the same combination with Nami that can often be found in ranked games. And the most interesting pick was Swain with the Imperial mandate performed by Forge from AL. It was this very Swain with his wildest sustain that became a stumbling block for RA on both maps. And EDG and WBG told you “Bang, kids, Sveina!”
