Western Europe’s Team Liquid and South America’s HEROIC split their final Group D series 1–1 in a back-and-forth battle at the Esports World Cup 2025.
Team Liquid struck first on map one with solid teamplay and sharp rotations. Nisha led the way from mid, setting up pickoffs across the map and giving miCKe the space he needed to take over in the late game. Despite HEROIC’s resistance, Liquid closed out the 44-minute game 33–19 with confident control of Roshan and map objectives.
But HEROIC roared back in game two with an explosive performance. 4nalog dominated mid with early kills and high tempo play, while Yuma’s carry Storm surged in net worth off clean teamfights and tower pressure. Scofield and KJ locked down every skirmish with perfect setups, allowing HEROIC to snowball into a 49–20 stomp over Liquid and even up the series.

The draw locks in the final standings for Group D. Team Liquid top the group at 5–1 and secure first seed heading into playoffs. HEROIC finish 3–3 and edge out PARIVISION for second place due to head-to-head results, booking their playoff slot. Shopify Rebellion are eliminated at the bottom of the group with a 0–1–2 record.
