Xtreme Gaming Win Asian Champions League 2025 and Qualify for Esports World Cup

Chinese team Xtreme Gaming emerged victorious at the Asian Champions League 2025 Dota 2 tournament, securing a coveted spot at the Esports World Cup 2025, where they will represent their region on the global stage.

In the grand final, Xtreme Gaming faced off against Team Tidebound. After an intense and hard-fought battle, they clinched the series with a 3-2 scoreline. For their first-place finish, the team earned $100,000 in prize money.

The tournament took place on May 16 in Shanghai, featuring four top-tier teams who qualified through ACL x ESL Challenger China. Alongside the finalists, Yakult Brothers and Excel Esports also participated. The total prize pool amounted to $150,000.

The event followed a single-elimination format, condensed into a one-day competition. The semifinals were played in a Bo3 format, while the grand final was a Bo5 series.

This victory further solidified Xtreme Gaming’s position as one of the leading teams on the Chinese Dota 2 scene and earned them a chance to compete for the global title at the Esports World Cup 2025 — where six teams are already waiting: PARIVISION, Team Spirit, BetBoom Team, Team Falcons, Team Liquid, and Gaimin Gladiators.
