BLAST Slam III runs from May 6 to May 11, 2025, in Copenhagen, Denmark, featuring the top 10 teams who received direct invites from the organizers. Format

BLAST Slam III will consist of two stages: a group stage and playoffs. The group stage will follow a round-robin format, while the playoffs will be single-elimination. Teams are divided into two groups of five and will play in a Bo1 format — a relatively rare format in professional play.

After the group stage, teams are seeded into the playoffs based on their standings (King of the Hill system):

  • 1st place teams are seeded directly into the Semifinals
  • 2nd place teams advance to the Quarterfinals
  • 3rd place teams are seeded into Round 2
  • 4th and 5th place teams start in Round 1

The playoffs will follow a single-elimination bracket:

  • The Grand Final is a Bo5 match
  • All other matches are Bo3

Participating Teams

As we can see, all participating teams are of the highest caliber, making it difficult to pick a clear favorite — although some do stand out. Among the favorites are Team Liquid, Parivision, Tundra Esports, and Team Spirit. Which team will you be rooting for?

Prize Pool

Since BLAST Slam III is a tier-1 tournament, it comes with a fitting prize pool of $1 million. It’s not only a great preparation opportunity for teams ahead of major events but also a chance to earn substantial rewards. Here’s how the prize money will be distributed:

Place$ USDTeam Earnings
1st$300,000$100,000
2nd$150,000$50,000
3rd-4th$60,000$20,000

As you can see, BLAST Slam III follows modern standards for prize distribution — both the players and their organizations receive a share. This ensures transparency and fair reward allocation.

You can follow BLAST Slam III live on the official BLAST Slam Dota 2 channels on YouTube and Twitch.
