Natus Vincere Junior Disqualified from ESL One Raleigh 2025 for Exploiting Bug
The organizers of ESL One Raleigh 2025 for Dota 2 have disqualified Natus Vincere Junior (NAVI Junior) from participating in the championship due to the use of a game exploit during the qualifiers. The decision was announced on the social media platform X.
According to ESL's official statement, NAVI Junior’s support player, Stanislav "Riddys" Mitroshkin, repeatedly exploited a bug involving the Smoke of Deceit item during the qualifiers for ESL One Raleigh 2025. This exploit had previously been listed by ESL as grounds for disqualification in earlier tournaments. As a result, NAVI Junior, who had won the qualifiers, has been removed from the event. Their spot will now go to AVULUS, the team that lost to NAVI Junior in the lower bracket final.
The closed qualifiers for ESL One Raleigh 2025 took place online from January 18 to January 20, where teams competed for two LAN spots. The main event will run from April 7 to April 13, featuring a $1,000,000 prize pool and 27,920 ESL Pro Tour points.
