Let's meet the weekend with the start of the playoffs of the Riyadh Masters 2022 Dota 2 stage. The group stage ended yesterday, after which 6 teams remained in the battle for the main prize of $1,500,000.

Team Spirit, PSG.LGD, Nigma Galaxy, RNG remain in sunny Riyadh, where today they will fight among themselves in the first round of the playoffs for the right to meet with OG and Team Secret, who got directly into the semi-finals thanks to a confident game in the group stage.

First pair of Nigma Galaxy vs. PSG.LGD

The Chinese team performed well in the group stage. Having earned only one defeat from Team Secret (0-2) on the first day, the players confidently rehabilitated themselves thanks to three victories over: Team Spirit (2-0), Tundra Esports (2-0), Deboosters (2-0).

In turn, representatives of Europe did not show themselves so confidently. A draw with RNG (1-1), Team Liquid (1-1), OG (1-1), and after an easy victory over TSM (2-0), allowed the Nigma participants to remain in third position in the ranking.

The second pair of Team Spirit vs. RNG

Oddly enough, here we also expect a meeting of Chinese and European players. The first in the face of RNG ended most of the matches in a draw: Team Liquid (1-1), OG (1-1), Nigma Galaxy (1-1). The last victory over TSM (2-0) allowed the team to take the second position in the ranking.

The Europeans from Team Spirit finished the group stage with a score of 2-1-1. A victory over Tundra Esports (2-0), Deboosters (2-0), a draw with Team Secret (1-1), and a defeat against PSG.LGD (0-2), as a result of which the team took the third position in the ranking.
