DPC 2021/2022 Tour 3: events digest for 11.06
Maksym ShylovAnother game day has ended within the rating DPC season. June 11 was marked by several interesting events and matches. In today's edition of the digest, we will cover matches in regions such as South America, Southeast Asia, Western Europe and North America.
DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 3
There were two confrontations in this region. Beastcoast met with Infinity, who already have one loss against SG e-sports. In the second division, a Peruvian derby took place between Gorillaz-Pride and Ravens.
- Infinity vs beastcoast - 0:2
- Gorillaz-Pride vs Ravens - 0:2
The silver medalists of the last part of the DPC 2021/2022 were able to win on 2 maps in a row, which lasted just over 30 minutes. In turn, the Ravens, betting on Beastmaster and Invoker, surpassed Gorillaz-Pride. This was the second defeat of the Gorillas in the second division of South America.
DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 3
In the second division, a match was scheduled between TNC Predator and Army Geniuses. The battle between Polaris Esports and Nigma Galaxy SEA took place a class above. Both teams needed to bounce back for their first loss of the season. However, as usual, only one team succeeded. Later that day, T1 took on former Division II representatives, RSG.
- TNC Predator vs Army Geniuses - 2:0
- Polaris Esports vs Nigma Galaxy SEA - 1:2
- T1 vs RNG - 1:2
As a result, TNC Predator managed to defeat Army Geniuses with a score of 2:0, while the 2nd map lasted more than 50 minutes, which is kind of rare this season. Nigma Galaxy SEA in a competitive fight managed to win back the lost map and defeat Polaris Esports. Unexpectedly for many, RSG, having imposed a protracted confrontation, coped with T1. Thus, the newcomers successfully debuted in the first division.
DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 3
Two matches were held within Division I. The goonsquad team, which includes eminent Scandinavian players, including the legendary veteran Gustav 's4' Magnusson, played against Team Liquid, which can boast of a fairly stable roster. It is worth noting that during the breaks between matches, Liquid had JerAx in the game booth, who probably became the team's coach. Team Secret also fought against Alliance. Puppey and his comrades had a lineup change. Earlier we wrote that Secret will perform with a forced replacement for the position 4 player, YapzOr, who missed the match due to health problems.
- Team Liquid vs goonsquad - 1:2
- Alliance vs Team Secret - 0:2
However, goonsquad prevailed over their Scandinavian counterparts 1-2, with the second map ending in an impressive 74 minutes, which is still a Tour 3 record..
DPC NA 2021/2022 Tour 3
North America limited itself to The Cut versus TSM FTX. This match was the debut for MISERY as a coach both in TSM and in the professional scene in general.
- The Cut vs TSM - 0:2
And the debut of the Danish coach was more than successful. Under his leadership, TSM were able to outdo their opponents on 2 maps, each lasting less than 28 minutes. On this, our brief review of the matches of the previous round came to an end.
As a reminder, DPC 2021/2022 Tour 3 runs from June 6 to July 15, 2022. In the first division of each region, $205,000, 1150 DPC points are up for grabs to qualify for The International 11, as well as slots for the PGL Arlington Major.
