Today the open qualifier to IEM Sydney XIV in Asia is on

The participants will fight with each other for the opportunity get to the closed qualifier where they will be fighting for invites to the LAN final of Intel Extreme Masters Sydney XIV. It is connected with three regions: China, East Asia and Southeast Asia.

The closer qualifier of these divisions will be held on 22-24 March, and at each of these regions the teams will be fighting for one invitation to the LAN final.

The main event will be held from 30 April till 5 May in Sydney. The holding place will traditionally be Qudos Bank Arena, and the prize pool will consist of $250,000, where $100,000 is a money reward for the winner of the competition.

At the moment we know seven participants of the championship. FaZe Clan, Team Liquid, MIBR, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Renegades gained direct invitations from the organizers when BIG and eUnited qualified for the tournament in Europe and North America, correspondingly.
