The new details of IEM Katowice 2018
Organizers of Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2018 have revealed who had been given direct invitations to the closed qualification to the tournament.
Such teams as Gambit eSports, Fnatic, mousesports, North, BIG, HellRaisers, Natus Vincere and Team EnVyUs received invites to the closed qualifying round in Europe. B.O.O.T-d[S], Flash Gaming, TheMongolZ and TyLoo were invited in Asia. Renegades, OpTic Gaming, Team Liquid, 100 Thieves, NRG eSports, Luminosity Gaming and Misfits received invites in North America, Chiefs eSports, Grayhound Gaming, Tainted Minds and ex-Kings Gaming Club were invited in APAC.

Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2018 will be hosted on March 2-4. A prize pool will amount $500,000 and Spodek Arena, located in Katowice, will traditionally be a venue. The winner will earn the main prize in the sum of $250,000.
