Gambit eSports will participate in EPICENTER 2017

Organizers of the tournament have published an information that Gambit eSports had become the third invited team at the championship.

Previously, such rosters as Astralis and SK Gaming received direct invites.

The prize pool of EPICENTER 2017 amounts $500,000. There is no information about the distribution of the prize pool at the moment. EPICENTER 2017 will be hosted in Saint-Petersburg this time but not in Moscow as it was last time, Yubileyny Sports Palace will become a venue. Ten teams will take part in the championship, eight of them will receive direct invitations and two other teams will have to pass through the Wild-Card tournament.

Gambit left without their captain, Danylo «Zeus» Teslenko and a coach, Mykhailo «kane» Blagin during the season of reshuffles. Instead of them, the organization signed the ex-player of Tengri, Bektiyar «fitch» Bahytov and Dauren «AdreN» Kystaubayev became a new coach of the team. Gambit finished their participation in the first tournament with the renewed roster yesterday, having held the 3rd-4th place at DreamHack Masters Malmo 2017.
