DreamHack Masters Spring 2021: Complexity Gaming will face Astralis in the second round of the upper bracket

The sixth match of today's game day has come to an end. Complexity Gaming showed an excellent game and, having beaten Team Vitality, became the second participant in the first semifinal in the upper bracket in Group B. There they will face Astralis, who defeated Extra Salt in the previous match.

This battle, like the previous one, took place on the Nuke map. The teams showed a delicate balance in the first half, which ended with a slight advantage for Vitality with a score of 8-7. After the transition, Complexity Gaming showed the French defense skills and lost only two rounds in the end. The fight ended with a result of 16-10, and Vitality is now forced to go down to the lower bracket and compete there with Extra Salt for the right to further participate in DreamHack Masters Spring 2021.

As a reminder, four new game pairs were formed in Group A earlier: Gambit Esports vs G2 Esports and NAVI vs Virtus.pro in the upper bracket, as well as Team Fiend vs Team Spirit and mousesports vs FaZe Clan in the lower bracket.

Six teams will advance to the playoffs. Only three teams from each group will be able to get into the final part. The teams that showed the best result in their eight will start their way right away from the semi-finals, while the rosters that took 2-3 places in the groups will go to the quarterfinals.
